A meeting was held in the bar today, (too many children in the pool to have it on the terrace), quite a few English owners turned up, but no Spanish owners, which is quite disappointing now we are supposed to be reunited.
The main question on the agenda which was the rumour that Mo had resigned her post as elected President, was answered by a letter (on the Misolpress Blog) which was read out by committee member Mrs. L. Jiménez. Mr. J. Brown attended in person and confirmed that he had resigned. Mrs. K. Ellerton sent a letter saying she had resigned. Mrs. S. Evans sent her apologies as she went back to England on the Saturday. The only person who did not attend or reply to the letter given to him at the beginning of the week was Mr. P. Hopkins. I tried several times to telephone Mr. Hopkins, but without success.
A question and answer session took place with the two remaining committee members. Mrs. J. Titterton took the minutes which I will type up when she gives them to me. This is just a short synopsis of what went on.
Everyone was very well behaved and there wasn’t any name calling or shouting of any kind. Overall everyone’s questions were more or less answered and presumably life will go on.
I was very surprised by the lack of volunteers to man the office, so please do not blame the committee if the office cannot be opened as much as you would like.
As I've Matured...
I've learned that we are responsible for what we do, unless we are celebrities.
