2007-10-03 2nd Unofficial Meeting

2nd unofficial meeting held at Mi-Sol Bar. 03-10-2007

Present:- N. Stacey, P. Olive, A. Impey, L. Jeminez, S. Shaw, L. Foley, J. Titterton. P. Whitehead, J. Hanrahan

The President went to the bank on Monday 1st Oct 2007 to discover a cheque made out for the amount of 1500.00 Euros had been issued by the ex-President (Pepe) to pay the procurator money that had been owed to him for the last 2 years. There is also a lawyer’s invoice valued at 700.00 Euros outstanding.

We were informed by The wannabe President (Paco) that 32,000.00 Euros is owed to the administration working for him- Snr. Lavado. There is also an unknown amount of money owed to the lawyer working on his behalf.. A copy of the bank statement shows in the main account a balance of 3979.82 Euros plus money in the backup account of approx. 3970.00 Euros. It is understood that Paco is in control of 9,000.00 Euros paid in by Owners and held in the CAM bank.

Meter readings are to be arranged as soon as possible to try and improve Mi-Sol Park funds.

Meanwhile the bank account has been frozen until the relevant paperwork etc has been handed over by Pepe to Neill.

At the AGM, Paco promised to support Neill with his 52 votes, but unfortunately, at the last moment, Paco was advised by his lawyer not to do it. We believe this upset some of the owners as they were under the illusion that Mi-Sol would finally be united. However a letter will be going out to all the owners on Mi-Sol Park asking that anyone with a receipt for payments made, to take them to APYME or the office so as to bring the community records up to date. As Paco did not ‘attend’ the official AGM he is not allowed to join the committee in an official capacity.

There hasn’t been a ruling stating that Mi-Sol Park has to return any monies awarded against the debtors by the courts. The decision on these cases, depend on the outcome of two outstanding cases. One in Madrid and the other in Elche, these are due to take place in February 2008. It was unanimously voted for by the committee that Neill would approach new lawyers to act on our behalf.

Steve Foley will henceforth be known as a handyman as the title of gardener can only be given to a qualified gardener belonging to a guild under Spanish Law. As Steve’s contract expired at the end of September a new contract for six months will be negotiated.

We are waiting for two quotes in connection with Circle X. All problems MUST be put into writing and presented in the office or at a committee meeting.

The Sentry Box needs repairing.

Could anyone having deliveries from Tabisan in large bags that can be reused please donate to Steve the handyman or Peter Whitehead committee member.

Neill asked Paco to put a new lock on the bottom gate, keys are available in the office.

Neill also asked Paco to change the lock to the outside gate leading to the office. L. Jimenez will hold committee members keys.

Paco has done both these jobs as a private community owner and has not been paid.

It has come to light that apparently in 1977 a certificate was issued stating that the name of Mi-Sol Park Camping was changed to Mi-Sol Park Community Of Owners, but unfortunately this information was not given to the SUMA office. L. Jimenez will try to correct this oversight.

As Alberto is not available for official committee meetings on a Wednesday, the meeting day has been changed as follows.

1st Tuesday of the month at 5.00pm in the bar unofficial meeting

3rd Tuesday of the month at 5.00pm in the bar official meeting-with Alberto

All owners are welcome to come and listen to the meeting, any questions must be put in writing and presented at the end of the meeting.
