2. Monthly meeting with Rosario, notes published on Misol blog and attached.
3. Pool Update. Numerous telephone calls have been made to the contractor with respect to the repairs needed. It would appear he has been called away to the Ukraine urgently and will be in contact on his return. We have spoken to Rosario and on her advice; the committee has agreed to wait another week for his return.
4. It has been confirmed that the first phase of the road repair will begin on Wednesday 14th April; KE has agreed to inform owners whose cars are parked so that arrangements can be made to move them.
5. Confirmation of Lifeguard and Security cover has been received and contracts will be signed in June.
6. Clara - PH has had a meeting with Clara. She was informed of the result of the investigation into the usuage of water and electric, which was found in our favour. We have not received a bill relating to these investigations but when we do it will be added to her account. The Treasurer informed her that she had three choices, (i) pay the debt in full, (ii) sign a contract to pay €1,000 each month after a first payment of €10,000 (her account stands at €44,782.64) or (in) Court proceedings.
7. Shower Blocks - Several Spanish owners have requested that hot water be available in block 3 stating that Misol is a registered camping site. The committee agreed to install one boiler in this block, it will be enclosed in a cupboard and operated on a timer system set to come on for 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the evening. Taps will be replaced with push taps and it was suggested to have a fixed shower fitting. A separate meter will be fitted to enable us to monitor usuage. The subject of closing shower blocks completely is on the AGM for September but will require a unanimous vote.
8. A Misol Park handbook has been drafted ready for printing. It was agreed to go ahead with the printing and a copy given to all owners.
9. Letters - Letter received from Nick Jiminez requesting employment as security at the main gate, he proposes to work from midnight to 6am and wants €125 each week, he would also like us to consider him as gardeners assistant, again for €125 each week. With respect to security, this is an ongoing problem until the matter of the gates is resolved. It was suggested that he contact the Security Agency with a view to employment, considering the arrangement we have for the summer and the pool. The Agency is fully responsible for social security payments and taxes and Misol pay an hourly fee to the Agency. The gardener is self-employed and it would be his decision to have an assistant and his responsibility to ensure that social security and taxes are paid. At the present time the gardener cannot afford to employ an assistant although it was agreed that 7 hectares is a large area for one person to manage.
Letter from owner 502 - a reply will be sent to the owner, the letter and reply will be posted on the official blog.
Letter from owner 464 - posted with reply on the official blog.
Meeting closed 1500hrs
