€2000 will be paid to the pool contractors this week bringing us up to date with our payments. This leaves a balance of €7000, which we hope to pay off by July on condition that the small jobs still outstanding are completed. According to the pool contractor there is still repair work to be done in the pump house, it was agreed to consult another technician for advice and estimate.

Pool cards are ready to be issued to those owners who have receipt of payment of community fees, this will be signed and dated by a paid up committee member. Owners will have until July 31st 2009 to pay community fees for this year to be allocated a card to gain access to the pool.

2. Iberdrola have been contacted with respect to changing the contract name, we are waiting for the relevant paperwork to be sent through.

3.         The change over of banks has been completed. A reminder that LaCaixa bank will accept all cheques but a charge will be incurred on those from other banks. This amount is automatically taken out of the Mi-Sol account and therefore will be put onto owner's bills. We ask all owners to pay in cash if possible.

4.         We are now responsible for maintaining the swimming pool. Tony Evans spent 5 days getting the pool up to the required standard and has shown Nicky Shaw how to keep it maintained who has agreed to take on this job and will submit a monthly invoice for €100 out of season and €200 during the summer. He has signed a memo stating that it is his responsibility to declare any monies to the tax and social security people.

5.          The Petanc court has been cleared. What is to be done with it will be added to the AGM agenda for the community to decide.

6.         There is one functional shower block that needs a good overhaul, cleaning of the inside and a coat of paint on the outside. An owner who has a small debt has offered to do the work and be credited with €100; it was unanimously agreed by the committee.

7.         The meters were read last weekend and the bills are in the office for collection.

8.         An owner has offered to undergo the lifeguard training to cover for our lifeguard in the summer. Unfortunately a requirement by the Red Cross is a good understanding of Spanish; which cannot be met. The same owner would like to rent a lock-up for the use of storage and also to operate a pedicure/manicure clinic. To run a commercial concern from any lock-up contravenes our statutes and therefore was rejected.

9.         The debt carried forward after Paco left the bar is to be removed from the database on the advice of Rosario. A debt was paid when D Olive and R Morans took over the bar. It has been over 8 years and despite a court case no money has been recovered therefore Mi-Sol has to swallow that debt.

Meeting closed 3.25pm
