Bank Statement: €16,769.04
€486.12 has been paid out for Tax, Melanie to confirm this. Euro fax has been received from the Cam Bank informing us that the account in Mi-Sol’s name has been closed and the money transferred to the courts. The consequence of this is that we will have to go to court to claim it. €16.13 has been received from the courts.
Notification has been received from the Agencia Tributaria informing us that we are now known as Asociación de vecinos Mi-Sol and we also have a new NIF number. Neill will be speaking with the lawyers with respect to the consequences of this.
The previous gardening contractors are threatening a denucia for non payment; the advice from the lawyers is to pay them something. It was proposed to pay them €480 for the original work which included the removal of caterpillars, this was agreed unanimously.
The new gardeners have made an excellent start and the park is beginning to look tidy again. The mechanised spraying machine has been repaired at a cost of €63.65; this is now available to them in their bid to control the weeds and mosquitoes.
An e-mail has been received from an owner expressing his concern with the rubber trees growing near his property. It was agreed to request a quote from the gardeners for removal of the trees.
Neill is still waiting for the quote from an electrician with respect to the moving of the electric meter at the bar.
Each summer we have a problem with teenagers behaving in an intimidating manner, gathering in groups usually in a dark area. A discussion took place suggesting the instalment of infra-red lights, employing a security guard for the months of July and August and purchasing a sensor system specifically targeting children under the age of 18, it emits a high pitched tone that only youngsters can hear and apparently is unbearable.
L Foley is to investigate refurbishment of the Petanc area.
Work on the pool is progressing, after it is finished it will be necessary to paint the surrounding areas with a plastic based paint, volunteers will be required to carry out the painting. It was also suggested that the outer fence be covered half way by green raffia, A Impey will take the measurements.
Notice of the AGM will be sent out the beginning of August, Neill asked if there were any items that the committee wanted to add, there were no new items to add.
T Connelly queried why the meter readings were not on his last bill. Melanie will check her database.
It is hoped the pool will be finished for the 1st August ready for filling. A discussion followed regarding the regulations relating to Life Guard, Neill to give the interested owner a copy of the regulations.
Meeting closed 10.23am
