Copies of last meetings minutes were handed out and no questions were put forward.
Neill had a meeting with the lawyers and Rosario with regards to the land at the bottom end of the Park. Originally sold to Mick Rouse by Pepe for the purpose of parking his ear or for plants. Mick was aware that this piece of land could not be built on. A Town Hall plan clearly shows no registered plot. Recently Mick, has sold this, piece of land to Derek Olive who disagrees; with not only the Committee but the Town Hall and the lawyers who have confirmed that the land cannot he registered as a plot. Mr. Olive has stated that his intentions are to put a caravan on the land and defies anyone to interfere.
Sixteen owners are to appear in court for debt to the Community, some of the previous ten having received notices in February have paid or have made arrangements with the President to pay.
More of Paco's followers are realizing that the money they have paid to him for water and electric have not been paid into the Banco Popular and therefore they are in debt to the Community.
A contract between the Community and the swimming pool contractors agreeing to payment by installments and future maintenance is pending, it is hoped that agreement will be reached by both parties and work will begin to enable the pool to open for mid July. The maintenance contract will allow the pool to be open all year.
More owners are paying the community resulting in a slightly healthier bank balance.
A team of gardeners have been working to get the park tidy, future work entailing weeding, sweeping the roads, maintaining the trees and mosquito spraying. will cost 600 - 800E per month. A representative of the gardeners will he invited to the next meeting to discuss this and a decision will be made.
Simon John's son has heard from Bob who in turn telephoned Kevin and instructed him to close the bar.
Rosario has been shown a copy of the bar contract and although a payment of 750E has been received. Bob is still in debt. The insurance claim for the damage caused by the fire is still ongoing, there would appear to be suspicious circumstances,
It has been agreed that the community use the terrace for future events bringing their own drinks and no access to the toilets will be allowed because of Health & Safety issues. L Jimínez. has offered to open the terrace and be responsible for securing the gate afterwards. The committee agreed that the bar should be fitted with a secure alarm system following recent events.
Supporters of Paco have visited Neill to express their desire to resolve differences, a draft agreement is to be written up and discussed at a future meeting.
An application has been made to the Courts to reinstate the main gates for security. reasons.
Clara's caravan tenants have been much cause for concern not only with the increasing number of cars parked but the disturbing behaviour noticed by several owners, Enquires are being made into the legality of access to Mi-Sol from these caravans
Any abandoned vehicles on the park can only be removed if they are first towed out onto the main road where they will be collected by authorized persons.
