2010-03-06-Committee Meeting

Committee Meeting Minutes. 6th of March 2010
Present: M. Taunton, P. Hopkins, S.Shaw. L. Jimenez, K. Ellerton, J. Brown 
Absent:   S Evans
1.  Last month's minutes read and approved
2.              Bank balance 6.3911,08
3.              Letter received from plot 612 read out - Suggestion to change top garden (in front of office) into car park. On agenda for A.G.M.
4.              An e-mail from plot 220 was read out in respect of the noise and caravan in circle J. A reply has been e-mailed to 220. As the owner is seriously ill in hospital, the committee felt it would be insensitive to request immediate action. Arrangements are being made to remove the caravan.
5.              An e-mail has been received from Rosario. It was agreed verbally by the objector to decline any further action. Rosario has advised that the gates can be used manually.
6.              Due to complaints received regarding the access controller, it was agreed to terminate the trial period. The treasurer has obtained further quotes for security measures. The committee will be assessing the logistics. A letter has been received from N. Jimenez-Shaw offering his services at 1.500,00 P.C.M. It was discussed and agreed to use an agency, which would be responsible for social security, taxes, etc.
7.              Authorisation papers have been signed to allow "La Perrera Municipal" to enter Mi-Sol and collect any stray dogs.
8.              A eucalyptus trees roots outside plot 432 arc lifting tiles on the owners plot. Agreed unanimously to remove tree at a cost of 80,00 €.
9.              It has brought to our attention that Mi-Sol has been paying Suma on plots sold to Mopud. Paperwork has been handed to Rosario to investigate the problem.
10.       The investigation regarding the utility usage for the flats has been completed. The electricians report has been received confirming our readings, but we arc still waiting for the plumbers report. The treasurer will arrange to meet with Clara.
11.       After further investigation into the sign at the entrance, it has been determined that the sign would have to be resized at our cost, not to mention the other official certificates and insurance etc. Therefore to comply with the Town Halls instructions it was unanimously agreed to remove it as costs of compiling would out way the benefits.
12.       Quotes for two new entrance signs have been accepted and authorised.
13.       Letter received from 658 Mi-Sol Bar - Possibility of separate electricity supply. The treasurer will contact Iberdrola.
14.       Notes from monthly meeting with Rosario.
15.       Owner plot 70 account details have been discussed after request from owner. The treasurer has sent the information requested by e-mail. A letter will also be sent to the owner requesting them to vacate the lock-up by the end of this month, as their account balance has not been cleared as requested.

16. Treasurers report
(a)    Expenditure to date 16.314,12 6
(b)   5cent credit per unit of electric used on January bills have all been credited to owners charged.
(c)    Extended community discount scheme has ended. Just over 30 residents availed
themselves of this opportunity.
17. Any other business:-
(a) The burnt out car by 610 has been removed
(b) An estimate has been received for an outside administrator at an estimated cost of over 15.000,00 per annum.
(c) It was agreed to request estimates for the repair of the worst affected roads. These have been determined as:

(1)   Middle road from plot 280 to 352
(2)   Side road from plot 452 to bottom corner by 621
(3)   Plots 521 and 534 right around to 513 and 511
